The Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) will be holding FALL DISTRICT Contests between September 26 and October 18, 2025. Many of the District contests are open to both MBHA QUARTETS and CHORUSES. Harmony, Inc. has graciously agreed to host MBHA contests at their Area Contests and Conventions as part of our Memorandum of Understanding. Thank you Harmony, Inc.
They will be hosting both quartets and choruses at their 2026 Area Convention and Contests. In addition, MBHA quartets and choruses are eligible to qualify to compete at the Harmony, Inc. International Convention and Contests this November in Louisville, Kentucky. The 2026 qualifying score for quartets has been set to 840 (70 average) and 828 (69 average) for choruses by the Harmony, Inc. International Board of Directors.

As a reminder, all MBHA contestants who perform in Harmony, Inc. contests must be members in good standing of MBHA both individually and as an ensemble, which means that all MBHA dues must be current.

Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival
The 2026 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival is open to all vocal harmony groups of 12 members and under so presents another exciting competition avenue for MBHA quartets!
